A Simple Guide to Caring for Your Leather
Leather is skin, and like skin it likes to be cleaned and conditioned. Wipe your bag with a soft dry cloth after a rainy commute, and let it air-dry naturally — never near a radiator.
Twice a year, work a small amount of natural conditioner into the leather with a clean cloth, then buff it back. This replaces the oils that daily wear draws out and keeps the surface from drying or cracking.
Store your bag stuffed loosely with tissue in a breathable dust bag, away from direct sun. Do that, and the leather will look better in ten years than it did on the first day.
